Please note that the annual membership fees for the Basic, Premium and Corporate categories for new members joining on or after 1 September 2027 shall be determined by decision of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors shall also determine any adjustments to the membership fees applicable to existing members.

How does the Institute safeguard its independence?
The EISDBE operates strictly as an independent scientific and advisory organisation. Our financial sustainability is supported transparently through membership fees, commissioned specialised studies, and participation in European-funded research programmes.

Can a municipality or company become a member?
Yes. The Institute offers dedicated Corporate and Institutional (Premium) membership plans for organisations, providing tailored support in the development of ESG strategies and the preparation of local sustainability plans.

What exactly does the Basic Membership offer?
For 20€ during the Institute’s first year of operation, you will receive full participation rights in the General Assembly, access to educational materials and reports, regular newsletters, and the opportunity to join our working groups.
